Bombers plastic headed racquets are used around the world by beginners and international players alike. They have become incredibly popular due to their robust properties while still being lightweight. They represent excellent value for money and are normally the first racquet people buy when they take up the sport, with most players then staying a fan of the brand for life.

Racquets will vary in terms of weight, cane thickness and net settings (though nets can be adjusted and will change slightly as they are used). Thicker caned racquets tend to be heavier and less flexible. Bombers use a system of A to H to denominate the weight of the racquet, with A being the lightest and H the heaviest.

Plastic racquets come with either a Square or Midas head shape. The colour of a racquet refers to the colour of the head. Racquets also have coloured grips on their handles and sometimes also coloured nets (though most nets are white). Thee grips and nets will often be different to the head colour but these can be changed for an additional cost if a particular colour of grip or net is wanted.
